Neighbors Emergency Centers all offer COLA-certified onsite laboratory services to save precious time on lab tests. Test results are prompt – often available within 30 minutes.
What is a COLA-certified lab?
COLA is an accreditation program that certifies labs meet state and national regulatory standards for quality laboratory practices. A COLA-certified lab is in compliance with CLIA and is recognized by the Joint Commission.
What lab testing is done onsite?
We are able to test for many communicable diseases onsite, such as flu, mononucleosis, strep throat, RSV, COVID-19, and more. In addition, we are able to do blood tests for complete blood cell counts (CBC), blood clotting, glucose testing, and more. Neighbors is able to do complete metabolic panels in order to monitor kidney function and liver panels in order to evaluate your liver function. These are just some of the common tests we use our onsite lab for. We are able to do the majority of required testing at our centers. If need be, we can send out labs that require cultures or further evaluation.
