Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo Invites Community to Rope in Name for Neighbors’ Horse

HOUSTON, Texas, August 15, 2017 – As a horse needs a rider, a horse also needs a name. The community is invited to help Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo name their new Hoof Print of the American Quarter Horse project horse that is located outside of Neighbors Amarillo North at 2105 South Western St., 79109. The center’s phone number is 806-353-3200.

Local residents can vote from a list of suggested names that include Oopsie-Daisy, Stitches, Neigh, Dr. Neigh Bors, Dr. Steth O’Scope, Gray Neigh and Patches. The community can also submit a name suggestion be sending a message through the Neighbors Amarillo Facebook page @NeighborsAmarillo or by stopping in at the 24/7 ER center.

Name suggestions will be taken until Friday, August 25. A name reveal event will come shortly after the August 25 deadline.

The Hoof Prints of the American Quarter Horse project promotes public art. Neighbors is honored to participate in this community event.
