Neighbors Emergency Center Kerrville Invites Public to Save a Life at Blood Drive on June 30, July 1
HOUSTON, Texas, June 14, 2017 – You don’t have to be a doctor to save a life. Neighbors Emergency Center Kerrville is proud to partner with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center to sponsor a blood drive on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1.
A bloodmobile will be at Neighbors Kerrville, located at 130 W. Main, St., 78028 from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on June 30 and 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. on July 1. The center’s phone number is 830-315-1911. All blood types will be needed and accepted.
Each pint of blood donated could help save up to three lives, so Neighbors is asking Kerrville residents to make a difference and give this lifesaving gift.
“Blood is literally the life force that flows within us all,” said Neighbors Emergency Center Kerrville Medical Director Mike Wilson, MD. “I know that people out in the community often think about different ways they can serve each other, but few people remember that they can literally save another’s life simply by donating blood. Please take time to join us at the Kerrville Neighbors on June 30 or July 1 and donate blood.”
This blood drive is a direct link with Neighbors Kerrville’s core values of having a compassionate heart, being loyal to the community it serves while engaging in a collaborative action delivered with a smile.
