HOUSTON, Texas, October 19, 2017 – It’s important to be a good neighbor, and Neighbors Emergency Center Kingwood takes that to heart. To help those in need, Neighbors Kingwood is honored to serve as a drop-off point for Mission Northeast’s holiday food drive.
The community is asked to bring non-perishable food items to Neighbors Emergency Center located at 1120 Kingwood Dr., 77339. The center’s phone number is 281-358-8488. Donations will be accepted until November 1.
Food items most needed include canned cranberry sauce, canned fruit and canned yams; stuffing mix and instant mashed potatoes; and cake mixes with canned frostings. Walmart gift cards in $15 or $20 denominations are also needed.
Collected food will benefit Mission Northeast Programs and Services which provides free food, clothing and household items to those living in poverty.
Neighbors assistance as a food drive drop-off point is a direct link with the company’s core values of having a genuine heart and collaborating in the communities in which our doctors and medical staffs live and work.
